Nice stay with very friendly staff (spoke English as well). Spa (1 hr per day per stay) was a nice perk. We needed 2 twin beds but, upon arrival, there was just one large bed. The staff gave us an additional complimentary room the first night. That was very kind. Nice warm shower with good pressure. Nice grounds, bar area and building. 10 min from Amboise. Great value.

Very nice place with spa and restaurant and ample parking space. Thanks to very friendly staff we got a free upgrade to a nice and spacious room.

Lovely place with very nice staff. All very friendly and incredibly helpful but not pushy or interfering. We appreciated that fine balance.The spa was amazing, and breakfast was quite exceptional with lots of choice. All very good quality and local produce used wherever possible.

Our stay was too short for a good review: we just stayed 1 night on our way to our final destination. But reception was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and tidy. They had even put some rose pedals on it, as we were on our honeymoon. We didn’t enjoy breakfast, as we left very early. But late check in and early departure was no problem at all. Very flexible staff. And the main building looked amazing!

Each room is themed for different places - we stayed in Bali. It was a large room which had disabled facilities and parking outside the room. (Didn't request for disabled facilities but wasn't a problem). The spa facilities are booked by the hour and were booked on arrival along with our evening dinner time. If you want a particular time I would phone ahead as you may not get a choice.

Peaceful, comfortable country retreat. Great base to explore the Loire region - close to Amboise and Blois, but far enough away to escape the crowds. Good value.

Well maintained beautiful old building in extensive grounds. Reasonably priced restaurant serving imaginative and tasty dishes. Plentiful beakfast. Spa facilities included in overnight rate.
